Ok, it’s been a looooong time since I’ve updated my blog. Sorry. Been so busy. That’s another entry.

This is about my beautiful friend Melissa -- a gold smith who spins nature into gold. She is an alchemist. Like these ripe tomatoes in her kitchen that she turns into flavorful meals, she transforms pure gold into works of art. As many of you know, when I find great talent, I become over- the -top obsessed in my passionate pleas to let the world know about it.

I’ve spent countless hours searching for the perfect tomatoes at the farmers market with Melissa and I spend equally as much time obsessing over her jewelry.

Her gift is unique. Watching her heat and pound gold until it takes form is magic to me. I’ve sat in her workshop for hours on end while she creates each idea by hand.
